  7. Sirius Job Estimating is designed for assembly of all aspects of a project
  8. into a complete bid.  When you receive the contract, the estimate can be
  9. transferred to Job Cost and Construction Item Billing.  Estimating is designed
  10. around the estimating database (build manually, load from Sirius Inventory, or
  11. load from one of several supported pricing services).  Using the databases,
  12. build and update item assemblies (bill of materials) to speed creating the
  13. estimate.  Takeoff (estimate input/update) is on-line and lets you enter
  14. items, call in assemblies or select items from the database.  Costs are
  15. controlled by labor, material, and four other user-defined cost types within
  16. each phase of the project.  Labor rates, labor fringes, taxes, overhead and
  17. profit are automatically calculated for each item.  Estimate templates can be
  18. set-up, called in and modified.  Multiple estimators are handled and each
  19. estimators' projects are kept separately.
